Reflections National Arts Contest

Students in Pre-K through grade 12, and a special artist division are invited to create theme-based artwork in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography or visual artsMembership in Virginia PTA provides the opportunity to participate in the National PTA Reflections Arts Contest. This competition encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by providing positive recognition for their artistic efforts. Since it was founded in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, millions of students have benefited from this program.

2023-2024 School Year Reflections Theme: “I am Hopeful Because….”

HOW IT WORKS

Students submit their completed work of art in one or all of the available art categories:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Film Production
  • Literature
  • Music Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts

Every submission must also include an artist statement which is mandatory as per the guidelines of PTA Reflections National Art Contest.

GETTING STARTED

1. Create your work according to the guidelines.

2. Submit your entry using the Moody Reflections 2023-2024 Entry Form

Please note that all entries MUST be submitted only through the link provided. No email entries are being accepted.

3. All submissions are due by Friday, November 10th 2023, no later than 11:59 PM.
