Bylaws Revisions

As required every 5 years by the National PTA, our bylaws are being revised. Changes made by nationals must be reflected in our bylaws as well as any changes we feel we need to meet our own needs.

We are proposing two changes to our Moody PTA Bylaws this year. After several years of discussion we are moving forward with the process of changing our PTA to a PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association). This change allows us to have student representation and input in our organization and we are very excited about this opportunity! The other change we are proposing is to combine the board positions of Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary. These responsibilities can easily overlap and this change will allow us to better utilize our resources.
